Let's start the week off with some red hot energy. I hope I do justice at expressing how in love I am with this jumpsuit. Forget for a second that it is red **I know, second best color under the sun after yellow** but it is so flattering with the most amazing fluid fabric. My go to style requires comfort and more importantly, effortless appeal so pieces like dresses and the obviously jumpsuits are what I gravitate towards.
Over the weekend, I spent a wonderful night over at The Oysterbay Hotel and it was amazing to say the least. Not only was the interior decor impeccable but the service and ambience were on point. What I noticed though, is that the South African interior designer that took their time with this place went for neutral tones. & can I say we know although that works for me, the Kamba in me needs a little distraction.
Wake up and grind, it's a new week and you know what that means...endless possibilities to a fresh start. Yes, this is my way of hyping myself up. You know what they say, declare it with your mouth and it shall come to pass. Sliding oh so quickly passed that, can we talk about this skirt? I love the femininity pencil skirts give a lady and what better way to express that than with the added benefit of the floral print.
Happy new month to you all. It has been a while but, I think now I am back with my mojo in check. Let's do this. I have wanted to get myself a few kimonos for a while now. When I was down in SA I searched in vain, but nothing stood out. That changed a few weeks ago when I went to the beach with my friends. One of my girls turned up with a stunning kimono and I knew I needed it in my life.
Since I am a creature of comfort, it goes without saying that a maxi dress is definitely a staple of mine. No matter the occasion or weather, this is one piece of clothing I can always rely on. I love the fact that they can be worn all year round, while creating quirky looks with sneakers & sandals or going for something more dramatic like heels.
