Is it because we are taken back to the 90's where all the pop stars (yes, I just said pop stars) wore those oversized jackets, mom jeans and made it look so chic. Early last month, I wrote an intro post on Dar Restaurant Week 2016 and how it works. I also run my first giveaway competition giving tickets to the Opening Event that was to be held at The Bay Restaurant. I have always been a fan of the bohemian-old-style-vibes trend. Anything from the tie & dye, bell bottoms, wedges to anything with tassels, I am instantly drawn. So it was no surprise when I made my mind up that these culottes would be coming home with me the second I saw them.
I have been putting off writing this post because I wanted to hold onto the memories of my summer holiday for as long as I could, then I thought; I have collected the memories, and that will never go away. So here we are. A girl behind a computer screen, tapping away and mostly reminiscing on the good times.
That is officially the longest blog title I have written so far, but then there is always room for firsts. Speaking of firsts, I got the chance to dine with The Face of Emirates Tanzania over a dinner soiree they threw on Wednesday 7th. Emirates invited a handful of bloggers to dine and chit chat about travel, the services they offer and of course go on and on about how awesome the UAE actually is. Don't mind if I do!
