Printed Kimono

Happy new month to you all. It has been a while but, I think now I am back with my mojo in check. Let’s do this. I have wanted to get myself a few kimonos for a while now. When I was down in SA I searched in vain, but nothing stood out. That changed a few weeks ago when I went to the beach with my friends. One of my girls turned up with a stunning kimono and I knew I needed it in my life.

What I love about this particular kimono is the fact that I can literally wear it every day of the week since it is a neutral piece, on anything. Better yet, if you are in Dar es Salaam, you are in luck as I picked mine up from Splash and they were on sale **score**.

I styled my kimono with a few pieces from Mikazi, their beaded necklace & Dikwe clutch bag. In case you do not know of Mikazi, they are a Ugandan based Boutique that specializes in African wear and sales internationally. Check their channels out here: Facebook // Twitter // Instagram
