Flashback Friday: Easter Shenanigans

Easter

A little late I know. But I still can’t shake off the memories of my Easter break. I was so lucky to spend it with my favorite people in the world; my family. I took a bus from Dar to Nairobi and back so that meant more time on the road and less chillaxing. But that was one adventure in its own self that will be told in another post. I didn’t get to do as much as I hoped I would but made it my sole mission to walk around the city, experience the nightlife and spend quality time with my people.

I got to visit the Masai Market in Nairobi. I have to admit that the bigillion of times I have been in Nairobi, I have never been. So it was something nice to do. In case you’re looking for some great African clothing, home decor pieces, that’s the perfect place.

Next day I went to Carnivore…yep. Every meat you can imagine…not really but by the second helping, you will feel like you have eaten every kind of meat under the sun. We were served the most delicious food before the meat came around.

I love the buzz around Nairobi and though my roots are there, I really haven’t explored the city. Do you leave in Nairobi? What places would you recommend for my next visit?
